Yes. We use Plesk as our main control panel. Plesk is both easy to use for beginners and contains more advanced features for the more seasoned pros.
We are a UK company with offices in Manchester, England and we have a headquarters in the USA in Montana.
Our three datacenters are located in England, Germany and USA.
Although, we currently offer shared hosting only in our German Datacenter for now. Our datacenter in Germany is super-fast, so no matter where you or your visitors are in the world, your site loading times will be rapid (especially with a Free CDN).
Yes of course. You can upgrade your web hosting account at any time.
The best way to do this is to order the plan you want, then drop us an email or open a ticket and let us know the details and we will take care of the rest.
A new account (new order) can take up to 24 hours, however we usually have everything setup and ready to go within the hour, literally.
Our current estimated processing time is 1-3 hours. This is because we are UK and US based and we setup our accounts manually to ensure everything is perfectly ready for you to get going.
Once you have ordered a web hosting package from us, you will receive both an email with this information inside and a customer note will be attached to your order over on your account on the store with the information on.
Yes, this entirely possible and you can park (or alias) an unlimited amount of domain names.
Yes, it’s true. We give you enough bandwidth to cover whatever the service is you have ordered.
There are certain things that we don’t permit on our web hosting account and you can find them under the terms and conditions.
Yes. You can setup software and/or scripts that run on PHP/MySQL or Perl.
Yes. We perform daily backups which are held in retention for 7 days. So you have 7 days worth of backups.
However, you can always setup your own backup routines via your Control Panel for more control over your backups.
We typically offer monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or yearly.
Each service/plan/package comes with it’s own choices. These are displayed on the relevant pages for those services.
We currently offer payment by PayPal, PayPal subscriptions or Credit/Debit cards.
Most major cards are supported.
No, we do not. Your payment information is only used by and stored by our secure third party payment processors, Stripe or PayPal, depending on which on you use. We do not store (or see) any of your payment information on our websites or servers unless you specifically (and manually) add it yourself via your account.
Yes. You have complete and full control over your payments and subscriptions. You can access all of this information from inside your account page on our store.
Each service/plan comes with its own set of terms and conditions. Please see our terms and conditions page for more information.
You can pay by the normal methods and receive an invoice from both payment providers if needs be.
However, if you need something more specific, please do get in touch with us.
The only difference between patch server plans are the amount of storage space you get.
If you find you’re running out of storage space, you can easily upgrade your account at any time.
Our patching servers are *highly* optimized to the max. They don’t run the usual services like PHP/SQL/Mailboxes and the plethora of usual services you would find on a server.
They are streamlined for pure performance to provide nothing but super-fast, accessible downloads for your files for your game patches.
Yes. You can freely upgrade at any time via your Account section on the store.
We cannot directly downgrade an account, this is a restriction of the way the storage space works.
If you really need to downgrade, the best thing to do is, order the lesser plan separate, contact us to let us know, then cancel your first subscription as we would have to create a new server.
Yes, in essence. It would be impossible for us to purchase ‘unlimited’ bandwidth from the datacenter without having extortionate costs. If we had to do that, then our patch server costs would be even higher.
To meet us half way, we simply ask that if your patch server requires an insane amount of bandwidth that you contact us for a quote on a more tailored server plan. This is to keep our costs down as well as costs for everyone, including yourself.
Think about it, if your project is using an insane amount of bandwidth, that must mean you have a popular product, so it’s worth the investment of having your own dedicated resources.
